A Reddit user posted a question of a Bridezilla from Facebook on how to exclude the 3-year-old girl from their wedding. People called the woman out for her insensitivity and asked the fiancé to run for the hills.
It's no secret that having kids at a wedding or any social gathering for that matter can be quite hectic. So it's understandable if a lot of weddings have a "no-kids policy." If you agree to this, you go. If not, you don't. It's that plain and simple. But a recent post on Reddit about by a bride-to-be had a lot of people riled up reports Scary Mommy. Four days ago, a Reddit user posted a question from Facebook about a soon-to-be-married woman who did not want the kid of her fiancé attending their wedding. The woman wrote that she put a "no kids" on the invites so that her fiancé got the message but he obviously didn't. She said further that "he keeps mentioning she being there." Which begs the question, which father in their mind would not involve his child on his special day, or was he just blind to his soon-to-be wife's absurdity.
She revealed more on the post. She referred to the three-year-old child as"his crotch goblin" and emphasized the fact that she’s “marrying him" and not his child. In addition, she went on to call the child "his mistake not mine.” It's evident that clearly despised her fiancé's child.
The woman clearly forgot the memo that if she married the man, she'd also have to accept the fact that there's a child involved whether she liked it or not. Redditors believed that the father of the little girl was better off without this lady in question. The bridezilla said that the child was "needy asf" whilst adding, "she makes everything about her AND I said no fucking kids!"
Was she really serious? Has she ever been around children? Did she really think that a three-year-old child would be stealing her spotlight? The irony of the situation is the bride-to-be was that she was the child in the situation. Clearly, there's a large red flag waving in front of this poor fiancé who seemed to be oblivious about the whole situation, and Redditors seemed to agree.
Reddit user existential_kitty astutely pointed out that, " The groom needs to cancel the wedding ASAP." SolarDragon4114 wisely chimed in: "Agreed, with her attitude it sets up a bad environment for the groom's 3-year-old. She isn't just becoming his wife only. She will be the stepmother of that 3-year-old. Also if she has problems with the 3-year-old then I have to question her choice of marrying him. She no doubt knows that she will have to be a mother to that 3-year-old. This even shows bad judgment on the groom's part. Knowing that his fiancee doesn't like his daughter then why would he still want to marry her. I would've dumped her as soon as I know that she wouldn't get along with my daughter. Marrying her could even put his daughter into danger. What will prevent her from one day killing his daughter? Or at the least abusing her to no end. Making life a living hell. Then in turn that could cause his own daughter to hate him. Regardless of the outcome, it is not a wise move to marry such a woman." MissTawdryHepburn sarcastically commented on her spelling. She said, "I hope someone rats her out. Also fionce. Nice."
