'Wheel Of Fortune' Contestant Says He's Trapped In 'A Loveless Marriage', And People Are Loving It

Blair Davis' cheeky introduction on the hit game show left the host and audience in splits.

As humans, we are bound to have issues. Some like to keep it personal, while some like to share it with others. However, this man took oversharing to the next level. During Monday night’s episode of Wheel of Fortune, contestant Blair Davis stunned host Pat Sajak and viewers alike when he shared a shocking anecdote of his personal life, reports People.  Davis was introduced as being in the small trucking business in San Diego, and then Sajak asked him about his personal life, which is what led to him opening up, a little too much.

Davis replied, "I’ve been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last 12 years to an old battle-ax named Kim," as the crowd erupted into laughter. "She cursed my life with three stepchildren: Star, RJ, and Ryan, and I have one rotten grandson," he continued, much to the amusement of Sajak and the audience. "Yay! No wonder you came here, you just wanted to get away from everybody,” the TV host quipped. However, he was quick to clarify that then clarified that he knew Davis was “being facetious."

"Absolutely, I love them like nobody’s business," Davis acknowledged with a smile. As for his long beard, he confessed that he maintained it for the sake of his grandson who was insistent about it. He said, "Every time I shave it off, he gives me a really hard time." To which led Sajak humorously retorted, "Don’t let it get tangled up in the wheel, that’s all we ask." Naturally, it wasn't long before social media denizens appreciated  Davis's tongue in cheek humor. They took to Twitter to praise him for his noteworthy introduction that will forever be etched in their memories.

One user commented: Super bummed Blair didn’t win #WheelOfFortune tonight because he had the best intro of all time. Another said,  ALL TIME @WheelofFortune intro just happened. ‘I’ve been trapped in a loveless marriage…. Finally, someone was truthful, said a third.

Wheel of Fortune airs weekdays at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
