There seems to be no medical treatment to completely cure fibromyalgia, only aides to manage the pain. The long-term disorder has no permanent solution and its chronic pain combined with headaches, anxiety, insomnia, cognitive and digestive problems can really get to you. Temporary solutions like exercises, painkillers, and meditation do exist, but this condition is something that's probably going to stick with you life-long. As per Bustle, another way to soothe the muscles is by using CBD bath bombs. CBD or cannabidiol is derived from the hemp plant, and it offers numerous health benefits without any psychoactive side effects.

Healthy Food House reveals that a study done by Laura M. Borgelt, Kari Lanette Franson, and Abraham M. Nussbaum concluded that CBD does in fact, relieve pain and muscle aches. Preliminary research shows CBD treats anxiety, fights inflammation, and can also be used as a solution to treat acne. Additionally, it reduces nicotine craving, treats epilepsy, and slows down the progression of Alzheimer's disease. According to Very Well Health, "A 2017 paper published in Expert Opinion on Therapeutic Targets suggested CBD as a possible way to diminish the activity of brain cells called glia, which leads to central sensitization."

"That’s a major feature of fibromyalgia and other central sensitivity syndromes such as chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, and migraine. Fibromyalgia could also be a result of something called endocannabinoid deficiency, which is the system that deals with your body’s natural endocannabinoids as well as cannabis products that you may take in. Which is what makes cannabis products a promising treatment. A 2016 review published in Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research found evidence that CBD is effective in treating migraine and irritable bowel syndrome, which are related to fibromyalgia."

If you're still wondering how CBD can help, a 2016 review published in Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research could help. There's evidence of CBD having positive effects on those suffering from migraine and irritable bowel syndrome, which are related to fibromyalgia. The authors stated that patients often prefer CBD due to the high it gives, and other effects associated with THC. Although this painful condition isn't currently classified as an inflammatory condition, research has indicated that there are cases involving inflammation of the fascia, a connective tissue spread throughout the body. Considering how CBD helps fight inflammation, this becomes yet another reason for those suffering from this condition to give it a shot.

However, it goes without saying that you need to always make sure to do your homework before purchasing CBD products. Apart from being aware of whether the product is being purchased from a legal source, ensure to check whether it has a certificate of analysis (COA), which lists the CBD and THC content. "Hemp oil" is lower in cannabidiol than "CBD" oil, thereby making it less effective than the latter. Seeing as how cannabis usage has different laws in different states, it's best to be safe than sorry. If you can't really lay your hands on a CBD bath bomb, you could always make one at home, it's easy!

The ingredients you require are: 100mg CBD oil; 1 tablespoon coconut oil; 1/2 cup Epsom salt; 1/2 cup corn starch;1 cup baking soda; 1/2 cup citric acid; 1 teaspoon water; Natural food coloring (optional); and 30-40 drops of lavender essential oil (optional). The method is as follows: Mix all the dry ingredients together by whisking corn starch, baking soda, citric acid, and Epsom salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients together like the CBD oil, water, coconut oil, and essential oils, and food coloring. Then, add this mixture to the first one. Mix well, and mold the mixture with the bath bomb mold. Leave them to dry for at least 24 hours. Now that your bath bomb is ready, it's time to relax and let it work it's magic!
