Trigger Warning: This story contains graphic details of animal abuse that readers may find disturbing.

Tourists on a beach in Kazakhstan beat up a seal until it was unconscious so that "children could take pictures with it," according to Daily Mail. The horrendous news comes just days after another cub was pelted with rocks on a beach. The shocking scenes were filmed in the village of Kuryk, which is located on the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea, and the video was widely shared on social media. In the heartbreaking clip, a group of men was caught attacking the defenseless animal with sticks and boulders when it got pretty close to the shore. Though there was a group of people witnessing the assault, they did nothing to stop it.

The cruel men attacked the seal until it lost consciousness, reports local media houses. "They beat the seal up until it passed out," said an unnamed witness. "Then they pulled it out of the water so that children could take pictures and have fun. After that, they threw the motionless body back into the sea. I don't know if it survived." A similar incident was also captured on camera this week in the city of Aktau, around 43 miles from Kuryk. The video was shared on Instagram by Kazakh model Yevgeniya Mukasheva. In the caption, the model wrote: Did people really have a complete lack of brains???

If an animal comes close to you, it means it trusts you. How could you throw stones at the defenseless pup and laugh? Have you lost your mind?! When will we already understand that it is necessary to value and care for every being on the planet? What more pain do we need to strike so that we understand that compassion and compassion must be at the head? Saken Dildakhmet, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Ecology, Geology, and Natural Resources said, "The way people acted in the video is outrageous and wild. Such an attitude can cause great damage to the fauna of the Caspian Sea and adversely affect the behavior of these animals who may become aggressive and attack people."

"We ask you to show respect to nature," he said, adding, "The seal in the clip is young and playful. The seals are mostly very friendly and curious marine mammals. We should admire them." The cops are now searching for the perpetrators in both videos. If found, they could face a maximum penalty of two years in prison. ZinaBeth Davis took to Facebook to comment: So they are teaching their children it is ok to abuse. Animals and people. So sad. Seals are harmless in their water minding their business. Sad world. Killers should be put under the jail for killing an animal for pleasure cause that's what they did

Evelyn Marrs added: What a barbaric, horrific act, such evil people including the ones who watched, this world is getting worse, no compassion, conscience or soul in some of the human race. Shameful and disgraceful! Very upsetting! Janie Menzies shared: I'm convinced this world is now sick so much cruelty going on people do just as they like without any sort of conscience so much for teaching our children and future generations the meaning of respect πŸ€”πŸ˜‘ Cheryl Silcock posted: Where are the parents. Evil little sods if they think this is right behavior how are they going to be like in adulthood. If they can do this evil act then borstal should be Brought back and teach them a very hard lesson.
