It's nearly impossible to assemble this and people are losing their minds over it!
While we're all cooped up at home, starting at the same four walls can get a bit monotonous. There is only so much you can skim through Netflix, and whine about not having anything to watch. Your patience is going to wear thin sooner or later. But, what if I tell you that there's another way you can drive yourself up the wall and it has nothing to do with lack of choices, per se. Okay, this one is for the puzzle aficionados, but right now, all of us could do with some brain stimulation. The puzzle is made of transparent pieces. Yep, there's no end or beginning to it.
The last time we checked, it's been driving people CRAZY because of its difficulty level. For just $17, you can go ahead and test your puzzle-solving abilities, along with testing your patience. Currently being sold on Etsy through a firm called LittleFlowerPotShop, these transparent puzzles are already one of the site's 'bestsellers.' There's a bit of a let down here because the product has been sold out and you will have to pre-order and wait for your confirmation before you can get your hands on it. Being popular with several five-star ratings from customers is what caused the evident shortage! Surely, you're willing to wait it out!
The product has been described as the 'Impossibly difficult CLEAR jigsaw puzzle for adults in multiple sizes | Puzzle Impossible: a really hard custom jigsaw puzzle.' Each piece is made from 'clear cast acrylic' and the item is so popular that there is an estimated wait time of '4 weeks before shipping' and this too putting it 'conservatively.' These puzzles also come in various sets from easy to the most difficult. The description on the website highlights the different sets - 'Nine pieces...These are best for the budding puzzle enthusiast (ages 10 and up, please). Takes an average adult <5 minutes to solve. Each piece is approx 2.'
This Transparent Jigsaw Puzzle Is Clearly Insane: A 144-piece jigsaw puzzle doesn’t sound very difficult, does it? Ask yourself the same question if all of the pieces were transparent, with no image on them. Now that sounds like a challenge to me! These… https://t.co/In4ctwBDvq pic.twitter.com/W4QvndY5nn— Technabob (@technabob) March 31, 2020
Then there are the 'Twenty-five pieces set in the same 5.75x5.75 square form factor. Each piece is approx 1 1/8,' The third set contains, "Forty-nine pieces...in the same 5.75x5.75 square". More pieces mean each piece is getting still smaller and will keep you occupied for several hours! Each piece is approx 7/8.' And lastly, the most difficult puzzle set has 'one hundred and forty piece' where one could spend 'just DAYS of fun assembling them. Each piece is approx 1/2." The description adds, "we really didn't think anyone would rise to the challenge." But people are proving them otherwise. Reviews of the product have been glowing.
When you try to be as transparent as possible in the relationship but they still can't puzzle you. Oof. 🥺 pic.twitter.com/aT667eZsfY— Ellie (@elliermntll) April 1, 2020
George Platen wrote: Great product that is very ingenious in its design. There are some very clever tricks in the design that will definitely surprise and delight anyone who likes puzzles. But the seller is even better. One-of-the-good-ones who will go out of their way to make everything thing right if there are any hiccups with the order. (There was a big hiccup with my order and it was sorted instantly and without question). Another reviewer L N wrote this month: I only have 2 pieces together so far, but I’m loving this! Such a great idea and so well made. Great seller! I’m buying more as gifts. Another satisfied customer Chad Tinkey added: Wife loved this puzzle! Had a small issue with the original item, but the seller made it right immediately! Thank you!
WHY??? My brain just started crying at the thought of a transparent puzzle.— Ashleigh Meikle (@TheBookMuse1) April 1, 2020
