Texas Cop Allegedly Had 2 Wives, 3 Fiancees, And 8 Girlfriends Who Knew Nothing About Each Other

This is some next level drama!

If you search for #JasonCollier on social media, you will be engulfed by all the info that's going to be thrown at you. In fact, it gets so messy that the man, a police chief from Texas, had to be put on leave due to the huge mess he's created. Basically, according to Scary Mommy, a woman, claiming to be his girlfriend, shared a series of rather wild accusations against the man. Fair warning, while this does seem like a scandal straight out of a movie or a novel, this does include very real people who have been hurt by one person's actions.

A few days ago, a woman named Cecily Steinmetz shared a photo of her with her boyfriend, Jason Collier. Well, a short while later, she posted a series of images along with a caption: Chief Jason Collier is living a double/triple life. I was his girlfriend until yesterday. He lied to me and presented me with fake annulment documents when I found out he was married. I also found out about a 2nd girlfriend, Kristi, last night. He has lied to us, our children, and asked us both to marry him. He is a poor representative of your town. He would also visit me in Amarillo when he was on shift. We just returned from vacation in Taos on Sunday - meanwhile, his other GF was told he was on work assignment in Portland, OR.

This is when another woman named Kristi Shaffer started commenting about how she was also in a relationship with him at the same time as Cecily. Between the two of them, they were able to determine that he was making a fool of them both and that he was a married man. Apparently, he had also falsified legal documents to prove to Cecily that he was not married as he'd gotten an annulment and was very much single so he could continue dating her. When the women compared his lies, they realized he'd been saying the same things to both of them, probably to not get confused much?

He kept telling them that he wanted to marry them both, he lied to their children, he bought them the same gifts (coffee makers), and he got away with living multiple lives by telling all the women involved he was being placed on “special” police assignments. A third woman even came forward and claimed she was another girlfriend. Multiple groups have been created with people sharing stories about their experience with the womanizer. One woman shared a bit about her mom, writing: My mother Angie was in a dating relationship with Jason Collier in 2007. Jason claimed his wife and mother of his three year old daughter was dead.

Jason said he had a crazy ex-girlfriend, who turned out to be his wife, Mandy Collier, who was not dead. My mother met his entire family and they did not say a word about his current wife or involvement with my mom. I believe he lived in Hereford, Texas with his father, and worked for the Friona Police Department. There’s a couple of small stories I vaguely remember of the guy, but his actions can give Police Officers a bad rap. However, according to Heavy, Collier did send an apology video to Cecily where he said  “I feel like the biggest piece of s***. Sorry.” The video was recorded in Collier’s police vehicle while he was in uniform.

Collier continued, “I didn’t mean to hide anything or lie to you. Sorry. I’m so sorry. Please, I just want you to forgive me. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” In the video, his police radio can be heard in the background. She shared the video with the caption: He has been gaslighting me today acting like I’m crazy and that everything I’ve found isn’t him. … I’m embarrassed, pissed off and humiliated. Though Collier himself hasn’t made any comments on the scandal he created, the city of Stinnet issued a statement on Jan. 27 saying the department is “aware of the current situation” and confirmed that Collier has been placed on administrative leave.
