There's A New Hotel Where Men Are Banned And Female Travellers Simply Love It

Som Dona is the first women-only hotel on the Spanish island and men are banned from the property. It is a new space for women who are looking to disconnect from the stress of daily life and offers personalized care tailored to their needs.

Thanks to Love Island, Majorica is known as a romantic paradise, but it seems like they are tired of the tag, too, because, now, a hotel has opened up. Sure, hotels open up all the time, but there's something unique about this place. According to The Sun, Som Dona is the first women-only hotel on the Spanish island and men are banned from the property. Now, how cool is that? No men allowed in the hotel and you get to explore the beautiful Island! According to the hotel's website, Some Dona is: A hotel just for women. Comfort, relaxation, art, healthy living, and Mediterranean flavor.  A new space for women who are looking to disconnect from the stress of daily life that offers personalized care tailored to their needs.

Guests are only admitted if they're female and over the age of 14. Also, the hotel offers bold decoration inspired by feminine features, this modern, functional and unique hotel in Porto Cristo guarantees a truly relaxing vacation on the seashore surrounded by nature. There are just 39 rooms at the hotel, designed to be light and airy with a feminine touch. Each room has a queen bed as well as in-room tea and coffee, complimentary minibar and private bathrooms.

The rooms, as comfortable as they seem, won't get to pamper you for too long because the hotel also offers a wide range of activities for women to do. They offer live music, a wellness area for spa treatments, a solarium and a library. You can relax in a few places around the hotel, including the beach-style pool and the rooftop terrace where you will find Bali beds to soak up the rays. This is exactly what a woman's vacation looks like, sans a man. Peaceful and a lot of time to just relax and unwind.

As for food and drinks, you can simply pick up cocktails from the lounge bar or grab something healthy from their "flexitarian" restaurant, which serves up seasonal Mediterranean food. It hasn't been long since the women-only hotel opened its doors to welcome guests. The hotel started its unique service on June 14, with rooms starting from £63 for two, which also includes breakfast. Of course, people can't stop raving about the new place.

One user took to TripAdvisor to share: Didn't really know what to expect from this women's only hotel, especially as it was so reasonably priced. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful feminine interior friendly staff and this has a woman's stamp all over it. Lots of friends, couples and mother-daughter visitors. Its relaxed, spa treatments, food is such good value. I just can't fault it and will definitely be coming back again.

Another satisfied customer wrote: Stayed here for a week with a friend. We found this hotel perfect.. peaceful & tranquil. The decor, food & staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. There are therapies available & a free Yoga session of one hour was offered. We hope to be able to return next year to the Som Dona. This truly is the best place for women to relax, and if you think about it, there's no better place to host a bachelorette's because you can be sure that the men in your life won't come gatecrashing.
