After Kanye West, Now Paris Hilton Wants To Run For President: 'Make America Hot Again'

Paris also tweeted, "I’ve decided the Oval Office needs some redecorating and a woman’s touch."

Kanye West recently confirmed his decision to run for this year's Presidential race and if that wasn't weird enough, Paris Hilton's latest tweet may have just made it worse. Seemingly inspired by the Stronger rapper's determination to run for President, the American actress and businesswoman has also joined the bandwagon. Unlike West, Hilton's tweets had a hilarious tone to it as she teased her candidacy in a series of tweets. After a lot of thought and consideration. I’ve decided the Oval Office needs some redecorating and a woman’s touch, she wrote in one of the tweets along with the hashtag "ParisForPresident."

In yet another post, she revealed her intentions to "#MakeAmericaHotAgain." Of course, people couldn't resist making a few jokes.

However, there were some who did not appreciate this and criticized her for making something as important as the Presidency seem trivial and a joke.

Hilton's response came right after Kanye West made this weird declaration in an apparent challenge to go head-to-head with Donald Trump. We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States 🇺🇸! #2020VISION, he wrote on Twitter. What's even weirder is the fact that the rapper has been a vociferous supporter of Trump. West previously paid a visit to the White House to meet Trump along with his wife and discuss prison reform.

During one such meeting in 2018, West was seen wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' cap, reports The Guardian. He also revealed that Trump made him feel like Superman, and to express this feeling he even hugged the President and declared, "I love this guy right here." When asked if West was thinking about taking part in the future presidential candidate, he replied, "Only after 2024. Let’s stop worrying about the future. All we really have is today. We just have today." Trump was also asked if he saw West as a potential presidential candidate. He said, "Could very well be."

As expected this news created an online frenzy and people began posting hilarious memes and trolling West.

There were some who suggested that West might be doing this to help Trump win this year's election by taking away voters from Biden. OBVIOUS “PLAN” West is a Trump supporter. This stunt is likely a pact between Trump & West to try to pull votes from Biden. Who is the likely focus? Black voters. It’s an insult to black voters to think they would automatically vote for West solely based on race, shared MURRAY. Kanye just announced he is running for President in 2020. The goal is to take away black voters from Biden, handing Trump a victory. This is by design. Also note, Elon Musk was very quick to endorse, noted user Kerry Davidson.

The chances of West or any other celebrity running for the 2020 Presidency are pretty slim because the deadline to register as an independent candidate has already passed in many states. It's also unclear whether West has filed any official paperwork to be on the state election ballot. For now, it doesn't appear as though the rapper has any intentions of running for America's highest office as the polling day is just four months away, on November 3. The plan that he would have to register with the Federal Election Commission, then present a campaign platform before collecting enough signatures to get on the November ballot, seems very far-fetched.
