Michelle Obama Stuns In White Dress As She Joins A-List Women For Luncheon At De Niro's Hotel

Large crowds thronged outside the Hotel to get a glimpse of the former First Lady and other celebrities including Sarah Jessica Parker.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama looked gorgeous as she took a walk around the Tribeca neighborhood on July 25. Michelle was spotted wearing a V-neck midi dress with cuffed sleeves and an empire waist. She also stopped for a luncheon at Robert De Niro’s New York Hotel, according to a report by The Daily Mail. Michelle Obama was seen in her natural curls, styled down to her shoulders, which she debuted at the Essence Fest.

The former First Lady opted for a pair of brown leather wedges with cork heels which showed off her light blue toenail polish. Michelle Obama was surrounded by a huge group of people, with many clicking pictures, as she entered Robert De Niro's Greenwich Hotel for the luncheon. Many celebrities including Sarah Jessica Parker, Lily Aldridge, Georgia May Jagger, and Olivia Munn attended the event. She appeared to be in great spirits as she left the New York Hotel.

Michelle Obama sported a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses and limited her accessories to a white handbag that had a navy blue and yellow scarf tied around it. The former First Lady chose to keep her jewelry minimal wearing only her diamond engagement ring and wedding band as she wowed those who spotted her at Tribeca.

She was spotted on Wednesday leaving Le Bernardin, an elite French restaurant in Midtown. She was seen wearing an ecru and black striped tank top which was tucked into slate gray satin pants. As for accessories, Michelle wore a pair of strappy metallic gold and silver flats, a caged gold cuff, and dark sunglasses.

Recently, Michelle inspired 100 first-generation college-bound students telling them no one was better than them. She told them to not be intimidated by any of their classmates even if they appear smarter and encouraged them to hold their own.

She recalled her time as First Lady when she met with a lot of influential and powerful people. "You always think that somebody else knows more than you do. I’ve been at probably every powerful table there is to be at. I have been on boards with some of the top CEOs. I’ve had dinner with the frickin’ Queen! I’ve been to the summit of world leaders. … They’re not smarter than you. I’ve met these people."

She also spoke about settling into a new environment. "Making new friends in college can be tough but here is one thing I want you to know: be patient. It takes time, understand that everyone is in the same boat as you, you’re in a class full of freshmen, so they are all as nervous as you are, keep that in mind. But you’re going to have to step out of your comfort zone.

Michelle Obama got a much-deserved break last month as she went on vacation along with her family to France. She has been, for the most part of last year, on a tour across America to promote her memoir, Becoming.
