There's a lot more to get done as he says his body is “under construction”.
Frenchman Anthony Loffredo has spent years turning himself into an alien. The 32-year-old has covered himself with tattoos and piercings, and he's also undergone rather drastic body modifications. As per The Daily Star, Loffredo recently got his nose surgically removed. Since this surgery is quite illegal in his home country, he had to go to Barcelona-based modifier Oscar Marquez for help. The surgeon, who does rather extreme procedures, performed the surgery, known as “rhinotomy”. It has now left Loffredo with a gaping hole in his face where his nose used to be earlier.
The self-proclaimed alien is more than happy with the results and he took to his Instagram to thank Marquez for his help. He wrote: Thank you to you @oscarmarquezbodymod you will have marked my life ... now I can walk with my head high thanks to you I am proud of what we did together. This procedure looks quite scary because there's a big hole in your face where your nose used to be, but Loffredo seems unfazed by it. This could probably be because he's undergone scarier procedures in his lifetime. He's gotten both his ears removed, his eyeballs tattooed, and even gotten his tongue cut into two. All these surgeries include a lot of risks, especially tattooing your eyeballs because there is a chance it can leave you blind in both eyes.
Also, to achieve that extra-terrestrial appearance, Loffredo has also had dermal implants done. Basically, this procedure is about placing implants under the skin to give it a bumpier texture. He's got the implants across his cheekbones and his scalp, making him look like the alien he wishes to be. Back in 2017, Loffredo spoke to the French newspaper Midi Libre about his transformation. "From a very young age, I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body. I had a click when I was a security guard. I realized that I was not living my life the way I wanted. I stopped everything at 24 and left for Australia.”
While it may seem like there's nothing else for Loffredo to get done, he admits his body is “under construction” – and admitted he’s “constantly” making plans to get more work done. "It has become normal, even unconscious, to constantly think about my plans for the next few months." Loffredo reveals that when he experiments with his looks, he gets an opportunity to portray different characters. “I love getting into the shoes of a scary character," he said. “I often settle down somewhere and play a role, especially at night in the dark streets, he has fun. I explore the contrast between the role I play and myself.”
Unfortunately, not everyone is a fan of such extreme body modifications and they took to Facebook to express their opinions. Ceri Ann Sharp wrote: Each to their own i suppose....who am i to judge anyone by their appearence and choices, its his body and his business. BUT..... if i was walking down the street with my kids would i hold my childs hand a little tighter and maybe cross the road..yes i would !!!!!! Im sorry but thats frightening and frightening is what he was going for so he cant complain when people judge/stare or cross the road. Barbara Blake added: What a handsome man you were why would you do this I blame the people who allowed this you must be insane and should have care.
