A video of a man licking toiletries in a supermarket, while saying “who’s scared of coronavirus?” has gone viral on social media, gaining a lot of hatred from the viewers. The man, who is allegedly from Missouri, US, was demanded to be arrested by the netizens for this unpleasant and disgusting act. The video was initially shared on Twitter by Antifa Public Watch APW and later they identified the man as Cody Pfister. In the video captioned “I’m a nasty moths f***er.”, he can be seen looking at the camera while taking toiletry products off the shelf of the supermarket and licking them.

This footage soon became viral, shared by many, demanding immediate arrest for his disgusting action. People were baffled by the man's action in the video. ‘The Good Morning Britain’ host, Piers Morgan, criticized the ‘moron’ and demanded jail term for his unpleasant act, saying that it might help ‘concentrate his mind’, according to Daily Mail. The UK morning TV presenter also said that if this man tests positive for coronavirus, he should be denied healthcare for his actions. “You know what I'd like to happen to him? I'd like him found, and I'm sure they'll get him, put in prison immediately and then I'd like him deprived of any health care should he then get the virus having deliberately tried to give it, potentially, to lots of other people,” said Morgan.

"That might concentrate the minds of these morons. And it might concentrate the minds of these morons here too," he added. User @BitterTrail wrote: Even if we could identify this idiot, would anyone have the stones to actually punish him? He and others do what they do because the 21st century doesn't present him with serious consequences for his actions. @Stodders79 added: Wasn't the guy who was licking ice cream tubs and putting them back found and prosecuted? This guy lives in a quasi police state. He's a cretin of the highest order and he'll be made an example if given the current climate of fear.

This incident comes just a few weeks after a man from Belgium was arrested after he allegedly licked his fingers before wiping them on a train’s handrail amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. According to Metro, the man was on a subway train when he was captured on camera while lowering his face mask, putting two fingers into his mouth and then wiping them on the pole up and down. “The man (intoxicated) was arrested by the police and our security service. The subway train has been removed from service for cleaning. For your information, our metros are cleaned every day,” Belgium public transport provider The Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company had said about the incident.

According to the WHO, COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. It further says that most infected people will develop mild to moderate symptoms and recover without requiring special treatment. However, people with underlying medical conditions and those aged over 60 have a higher risk of developing severe disease, which could result in death. The coronavirus was first detected in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 and COVID-19, was soon declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on January 30, 2020, by WHO.
