Three Young Strangers Help Struggling Elderly Woman Get Into Car, Police Officer Films Touching Incident

A police officer filmed three young men help an elderly lady into her car. You know that there is some hope left for mankind.

While police updates are mostly about crime and misdemeanor, once in a while along comes an update that makes you realize that the world isn't as bad a place you imagine it to be. Can't wait to know what happened? Well, allow us to enlighten you. Early this month, Officer Kenesha Carnegie of the Levy County Sheriff’s Office in Bronson, Fla., was in Williston and as she kept an eye on a nearby gas station, she saw something incredible. She saw three young men helping an old lady. 89-year-old Rose Griest had stopped at the gas station on their way home in Orlando following a medical appointment. As they reached the gas station, her husband, David, who is a 100-years-old decided to park. You see, the couple of 20 years had to visit the restroom.

But unfortunately, tragedy struck when the couple had to get back to the car. As they walked back towards the car, the poor old lady's legs began to give away. But, thankfully, help was just around the corner. Three young men, Joc Koe Stoe, Marty, and Freddy G saw the couple struggling and rushed to help them. And Carnegie was right there to witness the whole thing! "I look over and three men were assisting the couple — it was a beautiful thing to see," she said to Yahoo! Touched by what she saw, she quickly recorded a video of the good deed.

Though the video was heartwarming, she had no idea that it would reach millions of people over just a few days. In case you are yet to see it, let us tell you that it is probably going to be one of the most touching things you'll see on the internet today. At the end of the day, it isn't very often that you see three young men rush to help the elderly. In the video, two men gently steady Rose as she struggles to gain control of her legs. What's even sweeter is perhaps the sight of her husband, David, standing right next to her and holding her hand through the entire ordeal.

As the two of the three young men help Rose into the passenger's seat, the third turns to help David with his walker. "Thank you so much fellas," the old man can be heard saying in the video. "I’m 100 years old," he explains. "100 years old!". One of them responds to him and adds: "Yet, you're still moving! That's good." They also ask him to "take it easy" as David gets into the car and gets ready to drive. Had it not been for these kind, thoughtful men, things might have gotten very stressful for the elderly couple. We all know that kind strangers aren't something we encounter on a regular basis. But some rare encounters do take place, and you know that not all angels have wings.

In case you are curious about who these men are, we have some answers. Turns out, these terrific trio are all rappers and friends as well. They had stopped at the gas station to pick up some soda and chips when they looked out of the window and saw the distressed elderly couple. "We didn’t even ask if they needed help — we felt comfortable giving them a hand right away," said Marty, who is 30-years-old. "We seen an old couple having a hard time so we just assisted them," Stoe, aged 26, adds that Rose was exhausted after her trip to the bathroom.

According to Yahoo!, "She was so tired, she could barely walk," Stoe recalls about the incident. He also added that they just sprang into action when they saw the old couple struggling to get to the car. As per Daily Mail, Officer Carnegie was full of praises for them as well. "I know these men from the neighborhood, and I wanted them to have that moment to show who they really are," she said about the three rappers. As the story goes, Carnegie too had rushed to save the couple. But when she saw the three in action, she decided to take a step back and record the whole thing instead.

Needless to say, the video has gone viral over the past few days. While this comes naturally to some, and is no big deal, for most, this is one of the kindest things they could have seen in this big, bad world. And if you take some time to go through the comments, it seems like people are really surprised to see the youth of today step up and take charge of making this world a better place. As for the Griests, their 42-year-old grandson, Tommy is of the opinion that they probably don't know about this viral video. "I don’t think they even know about the video," he says.

"It would make them happy," he adds after revealing that the couple doesn't use social media. He also reveals that the video had caught him by surprise as well. He happened to be scrolling through Facebook, whiling away time, when he suddenly caught sight of his grandparents. "I was scrolling through and saw my grandmother’s purple outfit," he said reports Yahoo!. Touched by the kindness of these strangers, he adds that he would like to meet the three men and Officer Carnegie personally for helping their grandfather (who is a US Army veteran) and his wife. "Praise these guys for helping them," he concludes.
