Taken! Orlando Bloom Proposed To Katy Perry On Valentine’s Day And She Said YES!

After dating on and off for three years, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have finally sealed the deal by getting engaged on Valentine's Day.

Celebrity relationships are really hard to manage because of the extremely busy work schedules. When they work out, they can be the cutest things in the world. As reported by the Daily Mail, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged in an absolutely romantic Valentine's day proposal. Pictures of their engagement were uploaded on social media. They were seen dancing together in the middle of a huge heart the was made of roses against a reddish pink backdrop. The couple has been together for three years now. However, they did spend some time apart in the middle of these years. This isn't either of their first weddings. Both Bloom and Perry have been married briefly to Miranda Kerr and Russel Brand respectively. Dates or the venue of the wedding have not yet been announced. Well, they were probably to busy having a moment.

The pictures of their proposal have been circulating around on fan pages. The Facebook account claiming to belong to Katy's mother shared screenshots of the reported proposal from Valentine's Day. The snaps were captioned, "look who got engaged last night." One of the pictures shows the 34-year-old singer crying while posing in the 42-year-old actor's arms under a heart-shaped arch made out of roses. Another picture shows the pair getting really emotional as Orlando Bloom takes the microphone.

Perry looked stunning wearing a pink Alessandra Rich dress and was seen cozying up with her future husband.  Bloom presented the singer with a pink vintage ring, and Perry sported pink nail paint to match her engagement ring. She even had diamonds stuck on one of her nails to match the bling. To celebrate both, her engagement and Valentine's day, the singer wore heart shaped earrings and a sparkling heart belt around her waist.

During an interview with Paper Magazine, Perry said, "I'm very pragmatic and logistical and I am less fantastical about things... I mean, I was married when I was 25… I'm 34. It was almost 10 years ago. I was like, 'One person for the rest of my life,' and I'm not so sure that that idea is for me. I'm just such a different person than I was."  During another interview with W Magazine, Perry commented on her failed marriage with actor/comedian Russell Brand saying that it was an exciting and fun experience. It's good when there's no bad blood.

Last October, sources told PEOPLE that Orlando Bloom was planning to propose but did not have a ring yet back then. They also reported that he was seriously thinking and talking about his future with Katy Perry. The couple first started dating in January 2016. They met during the afterparty of the 73rd Golden Globe Awards that were held in the same month. The couple reportedly parted ways in 2017 and released a joint statement saying, "Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time," reports E! News. However, they didn't spend too much time apart. They were seen spending the holidays together in December, the same year.

In February 2018, the couple announced that they were officially back together. This isn't the first marriage for either of them. Katy Perry was married to actor Russell Brand from October 2010 to July 2012. Orlando Bloom was married to Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr around the same time from 2010 to 2013. Bloom and Kerr even share an eight-year-old son together, Flynn Christopher. Both Perry and Bloom believe in keeping their personal lives away from the media and like the privacy they have.

Earlier this week Katy Perry dropped a new song with Zedd called 365. The theme of the song revolves around a human who tries being in a relationship with a robot. The robot gets super clingy and super attached to the human (Zedd). It's like the movie Her reversed. The android literally stalks him everywhere. No one has ever been so obsessed. It's like an insight into what the future is going to be like if androids are continuously upgraded. Sounds like a nightmare, don't you think?

Orlando Bloom is currently working on a web-tv series called Carnival Row which will be released on Amazon Video. The release date of the show has not yet been confirmed. Bloom is playing the lead role of Rycroft Philostrate in the show. The show revolves around "mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. At the center of the drama is the investigation into a string of unsolved murders, which are eating away at whatever uneasy peace still exists."
