Just because she's always spotted with a smile on her face does not mean she's had it easy, but that's what makes her beautiful.
Jennifer Garner is 2019's Most Beautiful Woman, according to People, but it has more to do with her as a person than with the way she looks. The magazine took into account her long acting career, entrepreneurship, and humanitarian work as well. She's managed to find a balance between being a Hollywood superstar to doing her bit for the betterment of the society and also fulfilling her role as a mom to her three kids, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7, with ex-husband Ben Affleck. "Garner is more than deserving to grace the cover of this year’s The Beautiful Issue," the editors said, according to USA Today. Even talk show host Ellen DeGeneres told the 13 Going on 30 actress, "You are a beautiful person inside and out."
The thing is, she deserves all the praise that has come her way. Even though it seems like she's got an easy life filled with happiness and laughter, that's definitely not the case, but kudos to her for not letting her struggles wipe off the beautiful smile off her face. She constantly works to make the lives of her loved ones better, be it her kids or even her ex-husband, whom she's good friends with.
When she's not brightening the lives of her family members, she's doing the same to kids less fortunate as she works with with the charity Save the Children, which strives to improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts. Garner, who was a band geek, sometimes felt she was not attractive while growing up. according to Bang Showbiz.
She said, "I was so not one of the pretty girls that I just bypassed insecurity and didn't see myself as attractive at all. It was not part of my life." It is not that she thought of herself an unattractive, she just did not think of it at all, thanks to her parents. "I felt good about myself back then! That is the lucky trick. Looks weren't a big deal in my family. I don't think my parents ever said 'You're pretty' and so we just didn't think about it," said the mother-of-three.
For Garner, the most beautiful part of her life was raising her children, Violet Affleck, 14, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, 10, Samuel Garner Affleck, 7. She plans to make most of it while they are still young enough to need her every day. "I'm starting to get to the point where I realize this job is not going to be forever. Not in the all-encompassing every meal, every moment, everyday way that I have loved for the last 13 years. It's going to shift. But there's beauty in how it works in episodes," said the proud mother.
She revealed that her children prefer to see her as their mom than the glamorous actress who walks the red carpet. "They'll look at me and say, 'Can you wash your face? Can you put your hair in a ponytail and put your glasses and sweats on?' And I see the compliment in that. They just want me to look like mom." Her children have managed to keep her grounded after having had a very public divorce from her ex-husband Ben Affleck.
Affleck and Garner reunited recently to celebrate their oldest's birthday on December 2. The family came together to buy a Christmas tree on Violet's birthday. "They spent time as a family, as they have done in the past," a source tells PEOPLE. "They got a tree, decorated, went to church [and] saw a movie." Garner has also always made sure that her children always had both their parents growing up, and she's also supported Affleck through some of his darkest days. This is what truly makes her beautiful, not just in 2019, but for years to come.
