While Harry, Ron and Hermoine won't return, the books will give us an insight into the things they studied while at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
The wizarding world has been too silent ever since the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, released in 2007. Fans of the franchise have been missing 'The Boy Who Lived', but not anymore. Excited? Well, there's plenty of reason to be, because J.K. Rowling is releasing four new books through Pottermore Publishing, according to a press release!
They are going to be e-books and will be non-fiction centered around the lessons Harry, Ron, and Hermione had to take while they were attending Hogwarts. It's not really more about Harry, Ron, and Hermione, but it's something to do with what they had to learn, and that's a start!
The eBooks are as follows: Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy, and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures, all of which will be published across Summer 2019. To be honest, this is the best news all year. I can only think of the third book where Hermione had to use the time turner to attend all her classes!
It seems part of human nature to want to believe in the unbelievable: from the bestiaries and cabinets of curiosities of the medieval period onwards. We think that truth and myth are easily distinguished today, but magical creatures and the stories around them continue to fascinate us—and they are as central to the Harry Potter stories as Harry, Hermione, and Ron, reads the statement.
If this is not appealing enough, the four e-books will also include manuscript pages, notes, and sketches from Rowling's time writing the original Harry Potter books. I for one, cannot wait to lay my hands on it, because the Potterhead inside me is slowly waking up! Pottermore describes them as a chance to absorb the colorful characters and curious incidents of the real history of magic in a more compact form.
People just could not keep calm because this gave them a chance to relive their childhood. Most of us grew up watching Harry Potter take over the darkest wizard and triumph to finally start a new life for himself without having to fear. Natalie Elmore said: Say! Word! The best news in the world! Thanks for sharing! Everyone kept tagging other people and informing them of the wonderful news that Harry Potter was coming back!
Yet, some people were disappointed they had nothing to do with the main characters of the franchise and only with the lessons that were mentioned in the books and movies. But, nonetheless, people were excited to have something Harry Potter related to read because they just miss the whole thing, though they hoped it wouldn't be like the Cursed Child, which, in my opinion, wasn't all that bad.
