Artists have called out all those men who say they support equality but do not realize that men still treat the world like they are superior.
Everyone talks about promoting equality in all aspects of life, be it at the workplace or at home. People talk about equal opportunities and equal treatment but how much of this is actually true? Women are still paid lesser for the same jobs that men do. Women are still judged and looked down on for things they do but it isn't the same with men. The phrase "be a man" or "don't cry/throw like a girl" still exist. Even the people who talk for equality and women empowerment are part of this category of those who discriminate based on sex. Sadly, most of it goes unnoticed and a lot of times, and people do not realize how discriminatory their comments/statements are. A few illustrators who have observed this have spoken up about how there are still people who continue to treat the world like men run/own it. What better way to express yourself than by art, right?
