The couple have let their fans inside their home via social media posts.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have been together for over 37 years, are arguably one of the most cutest couples in Hollywood. During the lockdown imposed due to the pandemic, the couple spent their time in self-isolation at their stunning mansion. According to Closer Weekly, the couple owns multiple properties in New York and Vancouver. They previously lived on an estate in the Palisades Riviera neighborhood of LA. The former home was reportedly sold for $6.9 million in 2017. Their previous mansion had five bedrooms, a media room, vaulted ceilings, a guest suite, and much more, according to Zillow.
The couple also has a vacation home in Aspen, Colorado, where the whole family, including the grandkids, end up around Christmas. "Goldie and Kurt love getting away to Aspen for the holidays," an insider once shared. The couple has several homes together but fans got a peek into their current abode in social media posts over the past few months. We mostly got to see the vivacious Hawn in different parts of her home right from the luxurious living room to the home gym and even their colorful garden. In one video, the 74-year-old was seen in her living room as part of her "laughing challenge" where she discussed the health benefits of laughter.
According to HELLO! , she sat on a yellow armchair in front of a fireplace, with a TV fixed atop a white mantelpiece. The entire space looked warm and cozy with greens matching the white and yellow. Another picture showed how the couple seemed to unwind and spend some time together in a different living room, tuning into a large TV hung over a beautiful fireplace. The room also features blue wallpaper and plants as interesting decor elements. In a photo of the couple's feet up on the marble coffee table, Hawn has her daughter Kate Hudson's book on display. This really did look "pretty fun", to be honest.
Hawn also shared a video of her keeping fit, using a tiny trampoline, giving us all a look at her home gym. Equipped with top-end products, it's no wonder that the grandmother still looks stellar for her age. In 2018, they gave us a glimpse of their bedroom while they cuddled their granddaughter. Truly one of the best pictures of the couple! The all-white look adds to the whole calm vibe, as well. The whole house has a white theme going on as all the cabinets are painted white. They have an open kitchen and dining room, and a huge bed for their adorable four-legged furry friends to lounge in.
The Buddhist couple also has a Buddha statue on display in the garden next to the lawn. No wonder their home exudes a sense of serenity. Now, when it comes to quarantining together, it can get quite difficult and you may want to pull each other's hair out. However, Hawn has a solution for that, too. The First Wives Club actress said the best thing to do was to "be patient" while in quarantine with your significant other. "Sometimes, there are things you don’t like about somebody, but that’s OK," she shared with ETOnline in May. "You don’t have to punch them out. You don’t have to be angry about it."
"Just know that everybody has their own qualities. Sometimes they’re really good and sometimes they’re not," she said, adding that "lots of divorces are happening, a lot of things are happening 'cause people are in such close quarters. ...People say, 'Well, how does this work out?' Forgiveness and patience. That's a great quality to develop and I think this is what helps relationships sustain."
Now, this advice is stellar and this possibly explains how they have remained married for nearly four decades. Time to take a lesson or two from the couple on how to make a relationship work, we believe.
