Jennifer and Steve are proud pet parents to five long-haired dachshunds and two French Bulldogs.
Sharing the bed with your pet is the purest form of love that exists, and a couple has gone above and beyond to make sure all seven dogs they own feel the same love. As a pet parent, let me tell you how crazy it gets when two puppers share the bed.
They just lounge around like they own the bed (which they do) with not a care in the world for the rest of us. The couple from Alabama realized they did not have enough space to make all seven of their dogs feel included so they decided to build a custom-made 13ft bed that allows them to sleep comfortably with each other and their canine family.
Jennifer Taylor, 49, and her husband Steve, 60, wanted to have a good night's sleep with all their dogs but they did not want to sacrifice on their sleep. So, they came up with the idea to extend their double bed quite broadly.
The couple, who have been married for a whopping 24 years, said that their impressive creation took just days to complete. So what exactly is this monster-sized hybrid bed that can accommodate two humans and seven dogs made from?
\Well, two king-sized mattresses $610 (£470) and two doors $19.46 (£14), which is what the bed's headboards are made from, which they painted "to make them look nice", according to VT.
They went a step further and added $325 (£250) worth of wood to create the bed, with Jennifer admitting they "kind of winged the whole thing", and because their pooches are small, they created steps as "all seven of them only have little legs".
In case you wanted to know, Jennifer and Steve are proud pet parents to five long-haired dachshunds and two French Bulldogs. Surprisingly, a lot of people thought this was completely unwanted and exaggerated because they believe sharing the same space with their dogs is just disgusting.
However, let me tell you that it's honestly the best feeling in the world when they come to you and snuggle with you.
5 of them are miniature dachshunds so it doesn’t matter how big their bed is...the dogs ALWAYS WIN 😂— Lisa Marie Stover 🌻 (@StoverLisa) October 17, 2019

These people seemed to think that dogs don't belong in the bed and that they might contaminate the bed with fleas. The thing is, to most pet owners, their pooches are like family, and they will do just about anything it takes to keep them clean and healthy.
Dogs are not just meant to guard you and protect you, they also deserve to be loved and pampered, like you would with your own child. I understand they're not your flesh and blood, but they are your family nonetheless and they deserve every bit of love and care you can provide them with.
