For those who are wondering what it is like to be tested for the coronavirus, you longer have to depend on your imagination any longer because Chrissy Teigen has shared exactly how the nasal test is conducted. In her latest Twitter post, the mother of two shared a video of herself getting tested for COVID-19 and it is sure to leave you feeling ticklish. So, the test involves a swab to be inserted deep into your nostrils. Molecular biologist and associate professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology Maureen Ferran explains that the test is meant to reach the area where the throat and the nose join.

According to the New York Times, the test looks "as if someone is poking your brain." Although, it takes only a few seconds to be conducted many have described the feeling as "highly uncomfortable and "like breathing in water through your nose." But for Teigen, it was a giggle-inducing experience that she "honestly loved." In the 15 second clip we see a medical professional inserting the testing swab deep into her nose. Yes, the instrument goes in a good few inches and it may make you sneeze just by looking at it.

While the test might make you cringe, it had quite the opposite effect on the 34-year-old who could not stop giggling when the first swab was inserted. As the medic pulls the first swab out, Teigen can be heard saying, "It's not bad at all," while still laughing. The second time she says, "It tickles" and bursts into a fit of laughter and the medic agreeably says "it's like a weird tickle." Someone wrote: I wonder why so many people don't realize having things like that put up your nose is more ticklish.... almost giving you the sensation you need to sneeze as opposed to painful. mostly because that is the bodies response to strange things in your nose. Another shared: I hated it!! Honestly felt like they were swabbing my brain.

It was sure nice of Teigen to share how her experience with the testing was, but this a few Twitter users left negative comments criticizing her for getting one citing examples of other privileged celebrities who were getting special access to it when others who actually needed it could not. One user Carlos wrote: Man, I wish I had the privilege of being tested. Another named According to BuzzFeed News Abbie shared: What I wouldn't give for the privilege of getting tested for shits and giggles. The post was deleted when Teigen responded to the comment saying it was a requirement for surgery that she was about to undergo. For shits and giggles? I’m getting surgery, expressed the television personality. Others too expressed their disgust for the comment. I find it sad you have to explain why you are getting a test like it is only for the privileged. I thought if you wanted a test you can have a test. Thankfully in NYS it is quite easy to get a test & no one shames people for it, wrote Lisa Fitzgerald.

@ASAPodie shared: In a lot of places you can't get one unless you show "severe symptoms" or have "confirmed contact" with someone who has it. Depending her situation (which i know nothing about obviously) I'd be doing the same thing she is if I had the resources at hand. According to Eonline, Teigen also shared another important message: Everyone in LA can get tested for free. I'm having surgery and had to. I'm sorry if this offends you. Others appreciated Teigen's gesture and shared how the video helped them "feel better about getting" their own tests.

She also took to Instagram and elaborated on the topic.
