Bus Station Gives Homeless Dogs Shelter And Warm Beds During Winters

Besides converting old tires into beds, they provide them with food and shelter. This is the kind of humanity the world needs right now.

In the cold of the winter, we bundle ourselves up in sweaters and scarves to keep us warm. We've got temperature control at home and we make sure our pets are warm, too. But, have we ever wondered how the dogs that live out on the streets remain warm? I always like to believe that humanity still exists and there are people who make sure that faith stays. A few people in Brazil decided to do something amazing for the stray dogs with the onset of winter. According to The Dodo, employees at the Barreirinha bus terminal created a cozy space for these dogs at their facility where they can stay warm and also be taken care of.

Along with providing them with food, they also made beds out of old tires for them to snuggle into and stay warm during the harsh winter nights. They even have blankets for them. There are three dogs and they have been named Pitoco, Zoinho, and Max. It is unclear whether these dogs were abandoned by someone or if they were born to other strays in the vicinity.

We might take privileges like food and shelter for granted but it must feel like paradise for these three cuties. This small act of kindness towards Pitoco, Zoinho, and Max went viral as it caught the attention of local politician, and animal lover, Fabiane Rosa. She took to Facebook to express her gratitude: "Community dogs from of terminal in Curitiba. Respect, care, affection, they take risks, but they are free and happy. I don't get tired of praising neusa dos Santos and other volunteers who provide these angels, a warm bed in the cold, food every day, fresh water, safety, a cafuné."

"Congratulations to the employees of this terminal, everyone understands that these angels are there and have the right to be. So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example, adopt a mascot. Of course, it's not ideal, but at least there are those who watch over them and them. Last week Juninho of this terminal was run over, a brutal accident did not resist, but was loved until his last breath, at the time of the accident an employee immediately took to são lourenço clinic and Dr. Marlene provided the last help."

"Abandonment is cruel, coward, it's a crime. But we can together change this sad reality. Report!!! Don't be afraid!!! You may be the only hope of these angels who suffer quietly. These community dogs have a much more worthy life than some who are victims of abuse and negligence hidden behind the walls. And that people understand, this world is not the privilege of humans, God created animals so that we can love without conditions."
