Tiller & Hatch will travel to 15 different cities in the nation and make food donations to local food banks within the cities for two weeks. The Million Meal Donation Tour kicked off their initiative last week with their first stop being the city of Detroit last week. The Country star stated, "We're on a mission to help those struggling with hunger and food insecurity. And, due to the pandemic, it's a real crisis,"  in a video uploaded on social media. This is not the first time that the star couple has decided to put their resources to good use. Even in the past, they'd launched similar initiatives to fight hunger in the US.

Previously, the duo partnered with Belmont University to establish a free grocery store called The Store in Nashville. The Store is located right next to the University's ministry center, making it accessible to everyone, and provides free food to people in need. Actress Williams-Paisley added in the video regarding the current situation, "Many people who never thought they'd need food assistance are now seeking it." As per reports from Feeding America, over 54 million people are likely to experience food insecurity this year. This includes 18 million children in the country. "That's one in four children," she added. "It's heartbreaking."

On the website, a message reads: Fighting Hunger One Meal at a Time- We’re on a mission to help those struggling with hunger, and due to the pandemic, it’s a real crisis. More than 54 million people may experience food insecurity in 2020, including 18 million children.  To help out, Tiller & Hatch is doing a Million Meal Donation Tour in partnership with Feeding America. We’re traveling the country and donating food to local food banks – and we sincerely hope you’ll join us in our efforts for Hunger Action Month. Every meal matters. Also, as they say, you can also help: Sharing the message, volunteering, fundraising, and donating are just a few of the ways you can pitch in. By taking action, we can end hunger one meal at a time.

Fans of the couple can't compliment them enough for this kind gesture. Michelle Liimatainen wrote: Love this! It’s scary when you don’t have enough food to eat. We were there once many years ago. When we got back on our feet I took our kids up to the local food pantry to volunteer to give back. They were shocked at how many people used it. They are always in such dire need. We do everything we can to help them out. Teresa Cook added: You two are angels on this earth! God bless you both for all that you do to help others in need. Thank you for caring. I love you both! Susan Heard also shared: Love what you both do - feeding America is important!
