Montana Man Confronts Tucker Carlson In A Store, Says He's 'The Worst Human Being Known To Mankind'

Although parts of their exchange are a little difficult to decipher, it is clear that Dan Bailey did not hold back from telling the conservative Fox News host exactly what he thought of him.

As Fox News host Tucker Carlson made his way through a sporting goods store in Livingston Montana, local resident Dan Bailey happened to recognize him. Without any hesitation, the local fly fishing guide confronted Carlson and gave him a piece of his mind. "You are the worst human being known to mankind. I want you to know that," said Bailey speaking his mind during a conversation that was filmed and uploaded on his Instagram page. Although parts of their exchange are a little difficult to decipher, it is clear that Bailey did not hold back from telling the conservative Fox News host exactly what he thought of him.

"It’s not everyday you get to tell someone they are the worst person in the world and really mean it! What an asshole! This man has killed more people with vaccine misinformation, he has supported extreme racism, he is a fascist and does more to rip this country apart than anyone that calls themselves an American," read the caption of the post. Responding to the harsh comments, Carlson kept saying, "I appreciated that" before noting that he's "not gonna debate." Bailey, who was dubbed as the "Montana Man" across social media, then points at what Carlson had done to their country even as the 52-year-old protests that his daughter was with him.

"What you have done to this state, to the United States, to everyone else in this world…I don’t care that your daughter is here," Bailey continued. In due course of the video, Carlson realizes that he is being filmed and as soon as his eyes meet the camera, he breaks into a grin and walks away before telling Bailey to "settle down, son." According to Insider, the incident took place at Dan Bailey’s Outdoor Company, which later issued a statement saying that it had no affiliation with the man in the video even though it shared the same name.

"On July 23, a well-known television personality, Tucker Carlson, was affronted while shopping at Dan Bailey's Outdoor Company. Coincidentally, the person engaging Mr. Carlson was a local resident named Dan Bailey. This person has no affiliation with our business, other than that he shares the same name as our founder, who passed away in 1892. To be clear, we treat every customer equally and respectfully. Our staff was professional and cordial to Mr. Carlson, as we are with all of our customers," read the message on the website from store owner Dale Sexton.

Soon after the video went viral after being viewed over 300,000 times, a Fox News spokesperson issued a statement. "Ambushing Tucker Carlson while he is in a store with his family is totally inexcusable—no public figure should be accosted regardless of their political persuasion or beliefs simply due to the intolerance of another point of view," they told Insider. However, people couldn't help but applaud Bailey for confronting Carlson, who is known for his cable news show Tucker Carlson Tonight.

He came under fire recently after speaking about various news channels advocating for COVID-19 vaccines and especially cited CNN, reported the Independent. At the same time, President Joe Biden had appeared on CNN for a town hall for a question-and-answer session. Biden used this appearance on July 21 to promote vaccinations and to dismiss any misinformation surrounding it. But Carlson's stance was clear as he said, "CNN shouldn’t have a position on whether you should take medicine or not, because it’s a news channel, it’s not a health agency." The fact that Fox News had 2.36 million people tuning in while CNN's Presidential town hall brought in 1.28 million people, said a lot about Carlson's influence on the American people.
