Donald Trump Claims Melania Has Had No Cosmetic Surgery, But People Don't Believe Him And Attack Her Instead

Donald Trump is no stranger to lying. He built an entire presidential campaign around lies and falsifications and managed to do the unthinkable—becoming the President of The United States. Of the many lies he spewed was an outrageous claim that his wife Melania Trump never had cosmetic surgery. It started with a tweet in June 2017, when he claimed that MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski was "bleeding badly from a facelift" when she visited Mar-a-Lago during New Year's eve that year with her husband and MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough, a few days after she had a procedure to reduce wrinkles under her neck, IBTimes reports.

Speaking during an interview on the New Abnormal podcast, Brzezinski opened up about Trump's tweet and said it happened after she had a conversation with the couple in their bedroom around eight weeks after he became the President. "I'm talking to Melania about it, woman to woman, then Donald came up and said, 'you know, Melania has had no work done. She's perfect.' I'm like, 'that's great,'" Brzezinski said. No sooner than the excerpt got out, social media denizens voiced their opinions. Not to defend the former (emoji) but he wouldn't notice if she got a brand new head installed. It's all about him, him, him, a user wrote, lambasting Trump's claim. "You knew Trump was lying because he was breathing, added another. The post that started the tweetstorm had a before and after picture of Melania before cosmetic surgery.

One user was so shocked by the stark difference between the two. She said the former first lady looked like a "whole new person". "Come on now, please. She’s beginning to look like an old cat now, she wrote, I’m gonna be laughing at that one all day. Wheww!! Lordy!! Another observed: Every woman in Trump’s orbit has had massive amounts of plastic surgery, alluding that all the women Trump has been in a relationship with have had some form of cosmetic surgery done on them. I bet she never had anything done between her toes, joked yet another. A third commented: He has never spoken the truth before why start now. Of course, she has had surgery look at her new nose.. come on! In addition, Melania also at the receiving end of the comments. 

She's just another plastic Barbie. Why waste time on her, just another grifter, a destroyer, and, never forget, she married him, one angry user responded. Another person who seemed ticked off by the claim added: The original Melania looks almost human. The current Melania is downright hideous, they wrote, Perfect for her disgusting husband.

As many seemed to laugh off the obvious lie Trump tried to peddle, typical to his nature, there was a small minority who wasn't interested in hearing anything in connection with any of the Trumps. We need to stop talking about this heinous group of people. Ignore them. They don’t deserve any press. Hopefully, the trials will begin soon and he nor his kids will ever run for office, one person said.

Whether Melania got cosmetic surgery or not becomes apparent when one observes the drastic change in her facial appearance, many argued. And, given Trump's inherent nature of lying for no obvious reasons, many thought this was just another one of his mindless opinions.
